Ethernet to usb adapter - is there such a thing

I am looking for a usb device, that acts like a usb stick but takes its filesystem from an smb share on the network.

I have centralised media storage, but my big tvs are new enough to have usb, but too old to be smart tvs.

Does such avthing exist, a usb stick that emulates data from a network share?
