Evohome & Worcester Bosch combi (current combi 30i) pre heat mode

Hi all, I'm just looking to install Evohome and am happy with all I need with the exception of how (if) I can also control the boiler's hot water pre-heat function via Evo.

The Worcesters have a small hot water reservoir that they can pre-heat to speed up hot water delivery & at the same time reduce water wastage during heat up. This feature can be toggled (e.g. only on when you expect hot water demand so the gas used to maintain the reservoir is saved overnight or when away and the water wasted while warming up the heat exchange is minimised when there is likely to be demand).

The boiler provides exact the same external interface for this as it does for boiler firing - needs a circuit closed as a toggle.

My understanding is that to provide hot water control, Evo also requires the wireless cyl stat to be installed, using that (plus timing parameters) to determine if the relays should be closed to demand hot water. There is no way to do this unless I place the cyl stat "somewhere else" and just fudge the desired hot water temp so the demand from the stat is constant, leaving just the timing parameters to control the relay.

Assuming my query makes sense, is this "fudge" acceptable or is there a better way?
