I have quite a big confusion about the evohome offer of installing the cylinder controller to measure the temperature in evohome for the hot water.

With my current cylinder which sensor should I pick up? If I'm not wrong I should pick the sensor at immersion.
In the picture you see the current thermostat used to measure the hot water and trigger the boiler.
