Weve just bought a Neff oven which is Home Connect enabled. As with many of these products its kind of useful but not fully thought through.
It has a meat thermometer which monitors the temperature of the core temperature then turns off the oven when the target temperature is reached. Usefully, it displays the current core temp so you can see how its progressing. The Home Connect app displays everything you need to know about what temp has been set etc, but doesnt give the current core temp! The one thing that would be useful to you when sitting somewhere else in the house and wanting to know how the joint is doing!
To be really useful, I cant see why an estimated finish time couldnt be calculated once the cooking has progressed for a while.
