Been playing with the EvoHome for a few days and am surprised there are some features missing (atleast I assume you can't do this) which are all pretty similar.. Why can't you do a 'whole house' change (i.e set a temp in every zone)? And why can't you do Quick Actions until the next schedule change or even day??
There are many reasons why I want to do this... Perhaps I have a house full of people and temporarily want to set the temperature of the whole house up/down? Say I am going out for the rest of the day, and I would want to drop the temperature across the whole house for the evening/night, but then have the system go back to normal the next day?
Or say I just want to go to bed early and turn the heating off for the rest of the evening..
Setting the whole house to a lower temperature until the next scheduled change would make sense.
I am surprised/disappointed that the "Quick Actions" don't have an "UNTIL" option? Such as "until next scheduled change".. "until next day".. or "for X days".. Something like that.
As I have 12 zones, I now have to go into every zone and wind the temperature down on every one before going out/to bed.. And don't get me started on the stupid GUI feature where pressing back on the temperature change screen takes you back to the FIRST page every time.. So when your zones are on the 2nd page, and you make a change, you get dumped back to the FIRST page again, so have to press 'next screen' before doing every zones on the 2nd page...
Surely I am not the only person who wants this? I have only had it for 2 days, and both nights I have wanted to turn the temperature down early.. And had to do about 100 taps to achieve this...
The "Eco" quick action is perfect.. But its 'permanent' and has to be turned off manually (as I found this morning when I woke up and found the house at 16 degrees because I had left this on overnight).
Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Is there a feature I am overlooking which might help?
