Should calibrating the temperature on a HR92 reflect on the Evohome

After changing a lot of my HR80s for HR92s and the CM67Z for an Evohome, one of the things I am struggling with is that the reported temperatures are much lower than the real tempeature.

Infact, it was probably always like this, but now I can see the temperature in each Zone/Room its more obvious.

Where as before I just increased the temperature to compensate, on the HR92 I am using the Calibrate feature (Option 8) to try and improve this.

Taking for example my office, the HR92 showed 24 degrees, yet the actual temp was 21.5.. So, I set Option 8 to -2 and this had the opposite effect.. So I then set it to -2 and was sure that the Evohome now showed the recorded tempeature as 22, which pretty much solved the issue.

So I then tried the same in my living room where the radiator/TRV is in a really bad place... This time the temperature measured is 24, but the actual temperature is 21.. So I set Option 8 to -3 and saw no difference.. I started to think I got it wrong.. So set it to +3, assuming it would now make the temperature show 27.. But it still shows 24... On this TRV the Calibration option doesn't seem to reflect on the Evohome, and I am now starting to think I am misunderstanding the feature.

Has anyone used this option to change the "offset" of the TRVs who might be able to explain this behavior?

Jon
