Hi,
My Evohome system is
System Boiler with hot water tank
Evohome hotwater kit
All rads with HR92
Wet underfloor heating with Polypipe ZRU controlled with BDR91 and wireless Evohome thermostat
Just trying to get some ideas of how others use their Evohome for room temperatures. The reason for this is I have been monitoring my energy usage and noticed the boiler is firing through the night and im trying to stop any unnecessary usage. I thought it was the frost stat in the boiler but I have narrowed this down to certain rooms that get colder at night but they are not in use during the night and only sometimes during the day or every few days, in which we can just turn it on manually/boost.
I have decided to drop the temps in these rooms at night to just below what they drop to so I can avoid the boiler firing and I was wondering if others have come across this and how they have dealt with it, the good thing is that Evohome has this sort of flexibility.
On a side note would it be a good idea for Evohome to have a summer and winter programme you can switch between?
Thanks
Mark
