I've been trying (and failing) for 2 days now so need some help, please.
I moved from a big house to a small bungalow (3-storey 5-bed detached to 2 bed bungalow). My Evohome worked well in my previous house but I really can't make sense of what's happening as I try to setup in this bungalow. There was around 6 months between removing the kit from the old house to trying to reinstall it this week. Batteries were removed from all 17 HR92's.
I've followed 'factory reset' instructions for controller and the HR92's; I'm not convinced these actually did reset as when I cam to bind them to my new setup (zones), I'd often see the name of a zone from the previous house. BTW, each time I'd bind a HR92, I'd have to do it twice. The first attempt would see it just 'binding' constantly with no progress, the second attempt would work straight away and would show on the controller (ATC926).
I deployed all of the HR92's (10 in total) to their respective locations and then for most of the time, only 2 would appear normal on the controller. It wasn't the same 2, it was random which ones were showing, and occasionally there'd be as many as 5 random HR92's showing as connected. If a HR92 was showing as connected, then it's work normally and I could change temperature settings, demand heat etc etc. However, again this was random and sometimes the temp setting would change and when I looked closer, it was if someone had setup a new schedule!! I think (but can't be sure) these schedules were the same/similar to what I used in my previous house.
I've also had all 10 showing egg-timers on the controller, sometimes showing no egg-timer, no temp, just dashes --.- like this.
Right now, I've got 6 showing a temperature reading/target (but not what I've set), 7 random ones showing the red triangle (even though a couple of them seem otherwise normal) and most of the HR92's showing 'COMMS' ... and then a few/10 mins later, nothing (wrong)!
I really can't make any sense of what's happening. I'm tempted to think that there's not really been any kind of factory reset and somehow, previous settings are conflicting with current settings (is that even possible?).
Apologies for the long post but I was trying to cover everything. Any thoughts/ideas/pointers would be most appreciated.
